It’s the end of another month. The month of April has been a busy month for me. It’s my Aries daughters birthday month. So much of my attention has gone to her. Her name is Jewelene, because children are more precious than money. She is the most precious thing in my life.
My 3 older sons are just as precious to me. I’m not a doting mother though. I let them go to be who they wanted to be when they turned into teenagers. But I constantly care and worry about them. It takes more to let go of your children than to smother them.
One of the things I have pondered much about this month is the family situation. My sons live far away and are busy with their own lives. My 2 oldest sons have families of their own to keep them busy. My 3rd son is busy with his job and girlfriend. What busy people they have become. Thank goodness they weren’t too busy to call their little sister to wish her “Happy Birthday”.
My daughters Aries father did not call her for her birthday. He was too busy. She’s rather upset with him. She has a right to be. He gave her excuses which angered her (she is Aries Mars) even more when he called a week later. Finally she let him have a piece of her mind, curse words and all. At 14 years old they know alot of curse words. They expressed her anger. What angered her even more was that she knows he won’t change and that his words are hollow. She has everything but a father.
I made a very big fuss over her dragging her birthday out for over a week. I spend alot of my free time trying to do things with her. There’s not that much to do here in the middle of nowhere. We do have alot of stickers and weeds everywhere you turn. But we don’t have poison ivy, or poison oak, or mosquitos. These are things I think about when I wonder what are we doing here.
Venus and Mercury worked their way into Taurus territory ahead of the Aries Sun so I’ve been busy working in the yard. Hauling water again for my 50 trees keeps me busy. The weather has been extremely windy. One day it’s hot and the next it’s cold. The desert is a place of extreme change. Everyone has allergies. Everyone seems to be feeling the stress of Retrograding Virgo Saturns opposition with Pisces Uranus at the final stages of Virgo and Pisces.
My daughters teenage outburst with her father was typical of the young disillusioned spontaneous Uranus vibration in opposition to the older anal Saturn father figure. Authority figures are being undermined by youthful ideas. They get respect only if they deserve it. If they don’t, electrifying Uranus gives them an opportunity to make necessary changes through rebellion.
